JetBrokers sees greenshoots at NBAA

Delegate numbers were down, but on the upside it was far easier to meet and greet people in the halls and out on the static display who wanted to talk business.
That was the view of JetBrokers Europe, which seized the opportunity at NBAA, the industry's largest business aviation gathering in Orlando, Florida, to mark the company's formal launch.
"We had interest from manufacturers and finance companies seeking support, other brokers, FBO's, SMO's, in fact just about every sector of the industry,"said Tim Barber, Managing Director.
AMSTAT's recent reporting of a decline in global inventory for sale, down from 18% to 17.2% is seen by JetBrokers Europe as an encouraging sign that the bottom of the market for the majority of aircraft has been reached.
"There are distressed aircraft available but we're starting to see far fewer in certain sectors. It's still hard for many owners to accept the actual market devaluation of their aircraft, but when they do sales can be achieved swiftly. Consequently, there are still some great deals to be had," stated Barber.
JetBrokers spoke with many prospective buyers wanting to know about the availability of finance for aircraft. "The good news is that there are solutions out there, and this is just one of the many areas where JetBrokers Europe can help. Business aviation is traditionally a strong barometer of economic growth and the healthy numbers visiting the static park could indicate the beginning of an increase in market activity. We certainly hope so" added Barber.
JetBrokers Europe and JetBrokers USA, which has been trading now for 16 years, has a current portfolio of 40 pre-owned business aircraft and business turboprops.
