GainJet Aviation S.A has just added two new aircraft to its fleet, taking the first steps to accomplish one of the missions that have been set by recently appointed CEO Captain James McBride: "We expect to double our fleet size by the end of 2011. And I am confident that we can do that." Well, the first steps have just been made by these exciting new additions. The first aircraft to be delivered is a VIP Boeing 737-300 Executive Airliner. Completely refurbished in 2009, this versatile aircraft has a luxurious cabin that can accommodate up to 48 passengers with a five and a half hour flight range. "It's an exciting addition to the fleet. I've had the pleasure of flying it myself and I admit, I am very impressed," says McBride. Delivery of the aircraft is expected to take place in the second week of June 2010 and an inaugural event will be held at the end of June in the U.K to celebrate this new addition to the GainJet family. The other aircraft expected to join the GainJet fleet is another Gulfstream G450. The G450 is renowned for its spacious and luxurious cabin that can accommodate up to 16 passengers and its inter-continental eight and a half hour flight range. "Having two of these great aircraft as part of our fleet is advantageous for GainJet. The G450 has many useful features that ensure the customers' requirements are fulfilled. It's certainly an eagerly awaited addition to the fleet" explains McBride. Delivery of the G450 is expected in the third week of June 2010. With every aircraft acquisition, GainJet is expanding its selection of aircraft in order to supply all markets of the private aviation industry. The Boeing 737-300 is the second VIP Boeing that has been added to GainJet's fleet. In mid 2009, GainJet acquired a 78 seat VIP Boeing 757-200 executive airliner. Furthermore, the G450 joins a fleet that already includes seven other Gulfstreams, including a G550 and several G200s, making GainJet one of the largest Gulfstream operators in Europe. McBride points out that "we are expanding. We have a wide selection of aircraft in order to provide our customers with the best solution for their journey. We are now a full range worldwide private VIP aircraft operator that can meet all our customers' requirements." Even at a current fleet size of ten aircraft, ranging from Gulfstream G200s to a Boeing 757-200, it seems that GainJet has a long road ahead to achieving its goal by the end of 2011. However, GainJet is "growing at a rapid rate. We have a professional, hard working, and innovative team working with great enthusiasm to ensure that GainJet sustains its top rank and continues to grow. It's an exciting time for us. Imagine four years ago, GainJet was a one aircraft company. We will shortly have twelve aircraft and at the end of 2011 we plan to double our fleet size," states McBride. Well, all eyes will certainly be upon GainJet over the next few years as it strives to achieve this ambitious goal.
