Dallas Airmotive Gains HTF7000 Engine Authorisation

BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) company Dallas Airmotive has been approved by Honeywell as a Line Maintenance Service Center for the HTF7000 turbofan engine.
The company has also been made an Authorised Minor Service Center for the CFE738 engine. The authorisation enables Dallas Airmotive to remove and replace peripheral accessories and components, perform routine service inspections, 300/600 hour inspections, filter/igniter changes, fan trim balance and compressor/fan water wash, perform borescope inspection, gearbox/PMA removal and engine removal/installation, perform 'A' sump removal and repair, fan repairs, No. 3 sump removal and repair, and comply with Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives applicable to Minor level maintenance.
Honeywell has also approved the company as a Line Maintenance Service Center for the RE100 auxiliary power unit used on a number of light and midsize business jets. Dallas Airmotive already has Honeywell- trained field technicians in place to service this unit and will be adding more in the coming months.
