Jet Aviation Receives CAMO Certificate for Bermuda-registered Aircraft

Source: fly-corporate.com

Jet Aviation's EMEA & Asia aircraft management division has been certified as a Continued Airworthiness Management Organization ("CAMO") for aircraft registered in Bermuda.

For Bermuda- and Cayman Islands-registered aircraft, management by a CAMO will be mandatory starting in 2010. Jet Aviation provides CAMO+ and Airworthiness Reviews for all EASA-registered commercial and private aircraft with a maximum take-of weight above 5.7 tons. Management by a CAMO-approved organization has been mandatory in the region since September 2008.

On a different note, Jet Aviation has made a donation to Able Flight Inc., the national non-profit organisation that provides flight training scholarships to people with a variety of disabilities.

The award, which will fund scholarships for 2010, was presented at NBAA to Charles Stites, executive director of Able Flight. Robert Seidel, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation's aircraft management and charter division for The Americas and a member of the Able Flight Advisory Board, made the presentation on behalf of Jet Aviation.
