New Max-Trax Feature Helps Pilots Gain Best Fuel Prices

Source: fly-corporate.com

Globalair.com has launched a new functionality for its Max-Trax route planning web-based application to help pilots gain the best fuel prices throughout their trip and determine the most effective flight path.

The new functionality includes a corridor search option in the trip options section of the service. This functionality lets users search fuel prices within 25, 50, 75, and 100 nautical miles of their planned route, assisting pilots in finding the best fuel price between each leg of the trip.

Also added to the trip options section of Max-Trax is the ability to search for airports available by approach types. Max-Trax combines FBO-updated fuel pricing with a user's specific aircraft range data and departure and destination information to map out complete itineraries that can be saved, e-mailed, or printed.

Trip information is shown on a graphical map that displays all stops plus pop-up balloons that offer detailed information specific to those airports or FBOs.
