Aviation News Item: 08869 21st May 2010 Airbus plans to hire 1,700 employees in 2010 Source: ubmaviationnews.com Airbus plans to hire new 1,700 employees this year. Approximately 800 of these will be located in Germany with the majority in Hamburg, Tom Enders, CEO, told the Hamburger Abendblatt daily during the hand-over ceremony for Lufthansa's first A380 on Wednesday (May 19). The airframer expects to receive around 300 orders in 2010, including at least 20 A380s. |
