Transwest Helicopters Adds EC130 B4 to Fleet

 Transwest Helicopters Ltd, based in Chilliwack BC, has added an Eurocopter EC130 B4 to its medium fleet of helicopters in time for the summer season and beyond.
With over 20 years of experience within the forestry, oil & gas, fire fighting, power line and general utility sectors, Transwest is better known for operating its fleet of Bell 214Bs. But, Transwest president and CEO, Ernst -Ulrich Maas, felt that the diversification offered with the new-generation EC130 B4 would only add to the company's versatility. "The EC130 is an excellent intermediate machine with a low noise print, high comfort level and space," he said. "The EC130's uses are totally complimentary to our fleet of Bell 214Bs, which means that Transwest will now be able to offer our customers additional options in a very effective package."
Transwest looks forward to serving both its existing and new customers with this exciting addition to the fleet.
