Dubai Airshow On-site Order Book Tops US$14 Billion

Source: fly-corporate.com

The declared on-site order book for Dubai Airshow 2009 is now over US$14 billion and the event's long-held reputation for delivering solid business outcomes has been demonstrated by somewhat of a rush to book for the 12th Dubai Airshow, which will run from 30 October to 3 November 2011.

Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Aerospace was the first to sign up for the 2011 event and show organisers F&E have contracted a number of other key exhibitors.

"We have also been approached by a number of visitors who came to assess the show, have understood its potential and now want to return as exhibitors," said Alison Weller, Director Aerospace, F&E Aerospace.

"We anticipate sales pushing ahead more quickly for 2011 with industry sentiment genuinely predicting an upturn for international aviation and with companies wishing to take advantage of our price freeze on exhibitor space, which will continue until the end of next year."

F&E Aerospace is currently evaluating visitor registration demographics and intends to issue them within the next few days. "This was undoubtedly a busy show and we anticipate validated registration reaching close to the 50,000 mark - which is excellent for a trade-only visitor event," added Weller.
