Aviation News Item: 00798 5th May 2009 Piper sold to Imprimis Source: ubmaviationnews.com Piper Aircraft has been sold by its former owner American Capital to Imprimis, a corporate finance and investment management firm that operates from its offices in Bangkok, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam. Imprimis has said it intends to invest "significant" capital in the 72-year old general aviation aicraft manufacturer; keep the company's headquarters, production and product development facilities in Vero Beach, Florida; and support the development of key new products such as the PiperJet. |
