Aviation News Item: 07379 14th Apr 2010 American 767 diverts to Reykjavik due to cabin fumes Source: ubmaviationnews.com An American Airlines 767-300 en route from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Dallas/Fort Worth diverted to Reykjavik in Iceland yesterday (April 13) after fumes were reportedly detected in the cabin. The aircraft, with 133 passengers and 12 crew onboard, landed safely at Keflavik International Airport. No source for the fumes has yet been determined. According to media reports, a number of passengers felt dizzy and five crew members were treated for mild intoxication symptoms. |
