Aviation News Item: 00731 21st May 2009 LH to use Rockwell HGS on E-Jet Source: ubmaviationnews.com Lufthansa has selected Rockwell Collins to provide dual HGS-5600 Head Up Guidance Systems (HGS) for its fleet of 20 Embraer E190/195 aircraft for its regional subsidiary Lufthansa CityLine. Rockwell Collins claims the HGS of all primary flight data in the pilot's forward field of view provides enhanced situational awareness and energy management in all flight conditions. First deliveries are scheduled for September 2009. |
