Aviation News Item: 00704 2nd Jun 2009 Thales selects AdaCore's GNAT Pro for A350 XWB ADIRU Source: ubmaviationnews.com New York-based AdaCore, a supplier of software development tools and support services, has announced that Thales Aerospace has chosen its GNAT Pro technology to develop navigation equipment for the A350 XWB. The French firm is to use the "GNAT Pro High-Integrity" edition for DO-178B and the Ada 2005 language to build the aircraft's air data inertial reference unit (ADIRU), which will provide in-flight positioning information. |
