Aviation News Item: 00694 4th Jun 2009 Syrian Arab Airlines selects SITA for global network services Source: ubmaviationnews.com Syrian Arab Airlines has signed a seven-year contract with airline IT specialist SITA to implement and maintain a global network solution. The carrier wants to introduce one regional gateway to manage 47 IP connections in its offices worldwide. The new network promises cost savings and a higher bandwidth to allow more airline applications. In addition, the project is to provide passengers and staff with secure mobility access to their corporate applications via Wi-fi, DSL or GPRS. |
