Aviation News Item: 06679 24th Mar 2010 Roof goes up on Iberia's new hangar in Barcelona Source: ubmaviationnews.com The roof for Iberia Maintenance's new maintenance hangar in Barcelona, Spain, was raised into position yesterday (March 23). The 13,200m2 (142,000ft2) facility will be distinguished by an oval-shaped footprint area. It will be able to accommodate two widebodies, three medium-bodies (e.g. 757) or four narrowbodies; it will also be tall enough to accommodate the A380. The facility is scheduled to open in October. |
