Aviation News Item: 00662 16th Jun 2009 Second 787 moves to flight line Source: ubmaviationnews.com Boeing said it has moved the second 787 to the flight line to begin fuel testing. The company plans to use six aircraft for the flight-test programme which is to begin this month. This Dreamliner, designated ZA002, will focus on systems performance and carries the livery of launch customer ANA (All Nippon Airways) of Japan. Boeing has said it will deliver the first aircraft in the first quarter of 2010, almost two years behind the programme's original first delivery date in May 2008. |
