Embraer has signed a five-year Pool Flight Hour inventory programme contract with Austria's NIKI Luftfahrt, which operates one Embraer E190 aircraft and has four more on order. Similar agreements have also been inked with Ukraine's Dniproavia Airlines; Athens Airways; and Spain's Ándalus Líneas Aéreas - to support their total fleet of 17 ERJ 145s (11, four, and two aircraft, respectively). Furthermore the Brazilian OEM announced at Le Bourget the launch of its engine LRU (line replaceable unit) Pool Flight Hour programme, which offers E-Jets customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East unlimited access and repair of GE engine LRUs.
