Aviation News Item: 00647 17th Jun 2009 Bombardier announces further CSeries suppliers Source: ubmaviationnews.com Bombardier has announced another 17 suppliers for the CSeries aircraft programme. Among them are: Goodrich, which is to provide its SmartProbeair data system, ice detection system and external, cockpit and maintenance lighting systems; Hamilton Sundstrand, the electrical system; Honeywell, the inertial reference system (IRS) and auxiliary power unit (APU); L-3 Communications, the cockpit voice and flight data recorders; Liebherr-Aerospace, the complete landing gear system; Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems (MABS), the wheels and electric carbon brakes; and CAE, engineering services and simulation-based technology tools to support the design, testing and certification of the new aircraft. |
