Aviation News Item: 00646 17th Jun 2009 ACG inks $40m component deal with Honeywell Source: ubmaviationnews.com Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has selected Honeywell to provide avionics and auxiliary power units (APUs) for its fleet of 68 new A320 aircraft in a deal valued at more than $40m. The avionics package for each aircraft comprises an enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS), air data inertial reference system (ADIRS), emergency locator transmitters (ELTs), a solid state flight data recorder (SSFDR) and solid state cockpit voice recorder (SSCVR), and the flight management system (FMS). The aircraft will be equipped with Honeywell's 131-9A APU. |
