Aviation News Item: 00635 19th Jun 2009 Boeing begins final assembly of ANA's first 787 Source: ubmaviationnews.com Final assembly of the first 787 has begun for ANA (All Nippon Airways). The airframer launched the 787 programme in 2004 with an order for 50 Dreamliners from the Japanese carrier. Deliveries are now scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2010. ANA was originally due to receive the first aircraft in May 2008. |
