Aviation News Item: 00628 22nd Jun 2009 CAE and Quebec to invest up to CAD274m in R&D Source: ubmaviationnews.com An investment of up to CAD274m over seven years in a new research and development (R&D) programme was announced today by the Montreal-based simulation technology company CAE and the Quebec government. The government will participate through a repayable investment, which could reach CAD100m while CAE's share is to be CAD174m. The aim is to leverage the company's modeling, simulation and training capabilities into the sectors of healthcare, heavy equipment, mining and energy. ($1=CAD1.14) |
