Aviation News Item: 00623 23rd Jun 2009 JetBlue signs thrust reverser overhaul deal with LHT Source: ubmaviationnews.com JetBlue Airways has signed a 10-year contract with Lufthansa Technik to overhaul thrust reversers on its entire A320 fleet at the MRO's US American subsidiary in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The agreement also includes the repair and overhaul of thrust reversers that unexpectedly have to be replaced, for example in case of ramp damage. The V2500-equipped A320-family fleet of the New York-based airline currently comprises 110 aircraft. No financial details have been released about this multimillion-dollar contract. |
