Aviation News Item: 00619 23rd Jun 2009 Embraer awards Ducommun $100m contract for tailcone and fuselage doors Source: ubmaviationnews.com Embraer has awarded California-based Ducommun AeroStructures (DAS) a contract for the manufacture of the tailcone and fuselage doors on Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 executive aircraft. The deal is valued in excess of $100m at "currently anticipated build rates." These structures are to be manufactured at the supplier's facilities in southern California, Kansas and Mexico. |
