Aviation News Item: 00596 30th Jun 2009 Hainan A340 collided with BA777 on ground in Angola Source: ubmaviationnews.com A Hainan Airlines A340-600 struck a parked British Airways 777-200 in a taxi incident at Luanda airport in Angola last Saturday, June 27. No injuries have been reported. The outer section of the 777's left wing was damaged by the Airbus' right wing tip. Both BA's weekly flight (BA076) from Luanda to London Heathrow, which was due to depart later that day, and Hainan's return flight to Beijing were cancelled. |
