Aviation News Item: 00584 3rd Jul 2009 Snecma and Volvo Aero to cooperate on CFM56-7BE Source: ubmaviationnews.com Sweden-based Volvo Aero and Snecma have signed an agreement for Volvo Aero Norway to supply components for the CFM56-7BE engine. The facility in Kongsberg, Norway, manufactures vanes and LPT (Low Pressure Turbine) casings, and has already participated with parts for test and development of this enhanced version of the standard CFM56-7B engine. |
