Source: ubmaviationnews.com

The Bureau d'Enquetes et d'Analyses (BEA), the French air accident investigation authority, has confirmed that two locator transmitter signals from the flight data/cockpit voice recorders of the Yemenia A310-300, which crashed last week in the Comores islands, have been detected earlier today. Flight IY626, enroute from Sanaa (Yemen) to Moroni (Comores), crashed into the sea during its approach to Moroni Airport at 1.50am, local time (22.50 UTC), on June 30. Of the 153 passengers and crew, one teenage girl survived the accident.
