With its unique composite fuselage the aircraft boasts a six-foot high stand-up cabin from front to back offering the largest cabin in its class. Hawker Beechcraft has designed a quiet, comfortable environment ideally suited for working or relaxing.
Talon Air's pilots were the first to be certificated by the FAA to operate under FAR Part 135. The flight crews are ARG/US Platinum and Wyvern approved. Last month the FAA issued Captain Fabian Neito his check airman authorisation. Captain Nieto oversees the training and standardisation of our Talon Hawker 4000 pilots.
With a 99 per cent dispatch reliability this aircraft stands above the rest. Its performance has allowed Talon Air to operate from airports that typically cannot accommodate aircraft of this size. The Hawker 4000 has opened airports with short runways to Talon's clients such as Ocean Reef, Florida (4500 feet), Hilton Head, South Carolina (4300 feet) and East Hampton, New York (4255 feet).
With an overwhelming customer demand for this aircraft, Adam Katz, the President and CEO of Talon Air has purchased an additional Hawker 4000 from Hawker Beechcraft. The aircraft is scheduled to be delivered at the end of the first quarter 2010.
