Aviation News Item: 00564 9th Jul 2009 Quickstep signs MoU with CTRM for out-of-autoclave composites Source: ubmaviationnews.com Australian advanced materials specialist Quickstep has signed a MoU with Composites Technology Research Malaysia, a manufacturer of composite components for Airbus and Boeing aircraft, to cooperate on the evaluation and certification of Quickstep's out-of-autoclave manufacturing technology (the Quickstep Process) and possibly introduce it to CTRM's manufacturing facility based in Melaka. The Malaysian firm is the fifth largest supplier of composite parts to Airbus worldwide and a participant in the A350 programme. |
