Czech Airlines and air transport IT specialist, SITA, today announced a $12m four-year agreement for the use of SITA's Horizon portfolio of passenger management solutions as the Czech national carrier prepares for privatisation in September. SITA's inventory and reservations solutions will provide origin and destination capabilities to support the airline's revenue management goals. This will be followed by new services in electronic ticketing, departure control systems, and the introduction of kiosk and web check-in next year.
