Aviation News Item: 00553 13th Jul 2009 ANZ's winglet-fitted 767 lands Source: ubmaviationnews.com Air New Zealand's (ANZ) first 767-300ER aircraft fitted with Aviation Partners Boeing made blended winglets has landed at Auckland International Airport. The airline estimates that it will save more than six million litres of fuel and 16,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually when the winglets are installed across its fleet of 767 aircraft. |
