TrueNorth Avionics, Inc., has introduced an updated Intercom Handset that provides onboard communications for Sikorsky helicopters not equipped with an airborne telecom system. Available on S-76 and S-92 models, the TrueNorth Intercom Handset is a compact unit based on the company's popular Simphone handset, but with a simplified user interface designed to resemble that of the older unit.

The new TrueNorth Intercom Handset will be available in April, 2010.
