StandardAero has received supplemental type certificate (STC) organisation designation authorisation (ODA) at its Springfield, Illinois, location from the Chicago aircraft certification office. This designation enables the Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) subsidiary to approve design data, tests and analysis, as well as comply with the regulations allowing them to sign a STC on behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for aircraft alterations. The ODA is not tied to an FAA repair station allowing the company to perform certification work on aircraft that are not in its hangars in Springfield as well as for customers in approved facilities anywhere around the world.
