The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has amended Aeronautical Engineers' (AEI) 737-300 passenger-to-freighter conversion supplemental type certificate (STC) to include the 737-400. The conversion STC (STC-201) for the Florida-based company was first issued by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 2005 for 737-300 series aircraft and was amended in 2007 to incorporate the 737-400. The STC has also been approved by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Brazilian Agencia Nacional de Aviacao Civil.
