Aviation News Item: 00519 24th Jul 2009 West Star Aviation ALN adds Piaggio to capabilities Source: ubmaviationnews.com US business aircraft MRO provider West Star Aviation said its East Alton, Illinois, (ALN) facility has recently become an authorised service centre for Piaggio P180 Avanti aircraft. The first job on the Italian executive turboprop - with fixed, canard-like forward wings and pusher propellers - is scheduled for September. Pat Welch will manage the Piaggio programme at the MRO company, and Kevin Syfert will offer customer support. |
