January Bizav Activity Slightly Down from December 09

January 2010 business aircraft activity levels are down slightly from December 2009.

TRAQPak data indicates January business aircraft activity was down somewhat at -2.8% from December 2009. Reviewing individual market segments Part 135 large cabin activity increased 3.6%, Part 91 large cabin jet was up 1.7%, with the large cabin aircraft category having the best overall showing at 1.3% above December 2009.

Assessing the year over year results (January 2010 vs. January 2009) activity was up 5.3% overall, with the Part 91 operational market segment having the strongest increase at 8.6%. Looking at aircraft category results the turbo prop market segment showed the biggest increase at 8.0%, large cabin aircraft category also had a significant increase of 6.5%.
