Aviation News Item: 00515 27th Jul 2009 Depressurisation incident on Qantas 737 Source: ubmaviationnews.com Depressurisation during climb-out forced a Qantas 737-400, en route from Auckland, New Zealand, to Brisbane on Saturday, July 25, to return to its departure airport. The aircraft landed safely and none of the 91 passengers plus crew were injured. According to the Australian flag carrier, there was a small loss of cabin pressure at about 25,000ft, not a sudden depressurisation. The passengers and crew reportedly did not have to use oxygen masks. The aircraft is being investigated by Qantas personnel in New Zealand. |
