MENA Aerospace Enterprises WLL has announced that it has concluded a Memorandum of Understanding with CAF Aviation Group. The Memorandum sees both parties working toward the establishment of a jointly managed and operated organisation in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The new venture will undertake a number of aviation activities including amongst others, development of a corporate aircraft and VIP airliner interiors refurbishment and installation workshop which will also carry out training in the particular trades associated with this activity; provision of "Aircraft on Ground" ("AOG") and Mobile Repair Personnel ("MRP") services for OEM's; provision of outsourced nose to tail specialized technical resources; development of an upholstery shop for new, modification, retro-fitting, re-upholstering and re-certifying of aircraft seats and divans. The envisioned capabilities would include encompass VIP airliners and business jets.

Ralph Eisenschmid, MENA Aerospace Enterprises group Chief Operating Officer said: "We are very excited about the prospect of working with a professional and respected organization like CAF Aviation. By coupling their expertise and experience in these areas with MENA's regional presence, the region's aircraft owners and operators will certainly benefit from expanded and enhanced services."

Marc St-Hilaire, CAF Aviation President, said: "The regional demand for these services is very strong. Since CAF has a proven track record in working in these areas, we felt it was a natural evolution to join forces with MENA Aerospace to provide the regulatory and operational platform from which to deliver these combined services."

The services will be provisioned from MENA Aerospace facilities in Bahrain and at the Bahrain International Airport, and supported by CAF Aviation's production centre in Canada. The companies are confident that implementation of the Memorandum will commence before the end of 2009.
