Aviation News Item: 00498 30th Jul 2009 Wizz Air Ukraine contracts Monarch Aircraft Engineering for line maintenance Source: ubmaviationnews.com Wizz Air Ukraine and Monarch Aircraft Engineering have signed a five-year contract to provide A320 line and light maintenance services in the Ukraine. The British MRO provider has established a subsidiary in the eastern European country. Aside from its two base maintenance facilities at London Luton airport and Manchester airport, the company has 11 permanent line stations based at airports in the UK, Europe and Asia; as well as three seasonal line stations in Europe and Asia. The agreement between the UK firm and the Ukrainian branch of the Wizz Air Group, which operates 10 international and domestic routes out of Kiev and Lvov, started in May. |
