Aviation News Item: 00482 4th Aug 2009 TAP M&E Brazil receives FAA certification for A330/340 heavy maintenance Source: ubmaviationnews.com TAP Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) Brazil has been certified by the FAA to perform heavy maintenance on A330 and A340 aircraft. The company was already certified by Brazil's Agencia Nacional de Aviacao Civil (ANAC) and by Canada's Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA ) for the same aircraft. Nestor Mauro Koch, SVP, said the company is also considering the technical and economic feasibility of beginning services for the A320-family. |
