Aviation News Item: 04749 3rd Feb 2010 AirAsia X signs base maintenance deal with LTP Source: ubmaviationnews.com AirAsia X, the Malaysia-based low-cost long-haul airline, has signed a three-year contract with Lufthansa Technik Philippines (LTP) to provide base maintenance services for its fleet of eight A330s and A340s beginning March 2010. The first year of the contract includes four C checks and a heavy maintenance check. The MRO company will also carry out several cabin retrofit tasks. The services will be carried out at LTP's facility in Manila. |
