Delta Doubles Up

Source: bjtonline.com

Cincinnati-based Delta AirElite, the private-jet-services division of Delta Air Lines, has acquired Kinston, N.C.-based Segrave Aviation. Segrave, which began operations in 1994, manages 21 aircraft and also provides charter aviation services, aircraft maintenance and fixed-base operations. The all-cash transaction with Delta AirElite will nearly double the size of that company's owned and managed fleet, which already included 24 aircraft. Among them are light jets such as the Hawker 400XP, midsize aircraft like the Cessna Citation XLS+ and large models like the Gulfstream G550.
