Aviation News Item: 00409 24th Aug 2009 Virgin Blue selects LoadControl from Lufthansa Systems Source: ubmaviationnews.com Australia-based Virgin Blue has signed a long term contract with Lufthansa Systems to implement its 'LoadControl', a weight and balance application. The system promises optimised load planning of an aircraft, which should result in an increased payload and reduced fuel consumption of up to 0.5 per cent per flight. |
