DESPITE TOUGH MARKET, IBA SELLS TWO AW139 HELICOPTERS

 IBA has completed the sale of two Agusta AW139 Helicopters on behalf of Copterline OY, a rotary wing operator based in Helsinki. The helicopters were purchased by PHI Inc. in the USA, for immediate deployment within its expanding rotary operations.
IBA was awarded the remarketing contract by Copterline OY in April 2009 against stiff competition. Mark Wooller, IBA's Head of Corporate Aviation & Consultancy, handled the precisely targeted sales campaign. Mark comments, "Given the challenging market conditions, we had to work hard to make sure the aircraft were exposed to the largest possible audience. This, coupled with our focus on the requirements of prospective purchasers, ensured we were able to achieve a successful sale for our clients."
Speaking on behalf of Copterline OY, their Chairman, Mr. Pekka Jaatinen added, "I am extremely pleased with the work carried out by IBA during our remarketing process. IBA proved to be effective and flexible to work with."
IBA's Corporate Aircraft Consultancy Division has grown steadily over the past five years and now provides asset management, valuation and advisory services to a significant number of key players in this industry sector.
