Aviation News Item: 00387 28th Aug 2009 SIA's pilot school orders Citation simulators from FlightSafety Source: ubmaviationnews.com Singapore Flying College, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), has ordered two Cessna Citation Mustang full flight simulators (FFSs) and a procedures trainer from FlightSafety International, the US aviation training company and simulator supplier. The devices will be used for both primary and advanced pilot training programmes and are scheduled for delivery during 2010 and 2011. The two FFSs will employ FlightSafety's 'VITAL X' visual system to provide detailed scenery textures and a "realistic presentation of both routine and critical weather conditions". |
