ARGUS RELEASES NOVEMBER BUSINESS AIRCRAFT ACTIVITY

ARGUSTRAQPak data is serial-number specific aircraft arrival and departure information on all IFR flights in the US (including Alaska and Hawaii). The table below reflects business aircraft activity data for November 1-30, 2009 vs. November 1-30, 2008. Part 135 charter certificate flight activity reflects flights of aircraft on Part 135 charter certificates irrespective of the mission type.
November business aircraft activity shows a continued trend toward recovery. TRAQPak data indicates November business aircraft activity increased 3.15% over the previous month (October 2009). Comparing November of this year to November 2008, activity is up 22.7%. The large cabin jet sector led the improvement at 28.1%, with the Part 135 market segment showing the strongest overall results at 34.1% above November 2008. ARGUS estimates the average percent change in flight activity, rolling month over month, for the last twelve months is up an average of 2.08% per month. Total flight activity for the last twelve months as compared to the previous twelve months is off -14.70% (Dec. 07-Nov. 08 vs. Dec. 08-Nov. 09).
