Aviation News Item: 00325 15th Sep 2009 Iberia wins SAS heavy maintenance contract Source: ubmaviationnews.com SAS Scandinavian Airlines has selected Iberia Maintenance to carry out C and D checks for the MD-80s, A330s and A340s it operates. The contract runs for an initial term of two years and is renewable to five years. José Luis Ruiz de Castañed, Iberia Maintenance general manager, stated that his company "won this contract against strong competition - the quality and seriousness of our bid were decisive in winning SAS' business". |
