Aviation News Item: 00317 17th Sep 2009 Avianova chooses Lufthansa Systems FMS Source: ubmaviationnews.com Russian low-cost carrier Avianova has signed up to utilise Lufthansa Systems' Flight Management System (FMS) database in a five-year deal. The FMS database contains route information including altitude and airport data for optimising routes and supporting autopilots on board modern aircraft. The navigation data can be customised to specific routes and for use in any type of aircraft. |
