Aviation News Item: 00316 17th Sep 2009 Wizz Air, LHT renew component deal Source: ubmaviationnews.com Wizz Air is to renew its 'Total Component Support' contract with Lufthansa Technik (LHT) for a period of ten years. The airline's fleet is set to grow from 26 A320s today to 132 in 2017. The contract covers supplying Wizz Air's fleet with components from writing the specifications, initial provisioning studies, home base allocation, to repair and overhaul of components. The deal also provides for the continuation of the wheels and brakes support of the airline's fleet, from Lufthansa Technik's Frankfurt base. |
