Aviation News Item: 00306 22nd Sep 2009 Norwegian Air Shuttle to 'STREAM' its technical records Source: ubmaviationnews.com Norwegian Air Shuttle, a low-cost carrier headquartered in Oslo, has signed a three year contract with UK-based Waviatech for the scanning, processing and delivery of its 737 technical records in digital format using the IT company's 'STREAM' tool. The digitising of aircraft records should, among other benefits, particularly help to facilitate more efficient aircraft returns at end of lease, according to Bjorn Ivar Aarseth, the airline's technical director. |
