Aviation News Item: 00282 28th Sep 2009 FAA grants Wencor ODA Source: ubmaviationnews.com The FAA has extended Wencor's authority to perform parts manufacturer approval (PMA) certification procedures on behalf of the FAA for its new PMAs. Under this latest delegation, titled organisation designation authorisation (ODA), designees, inspectors and engineers of the US parts manufacturer distribute, review new designs, oversee testing and sign off on certification. |
