Aviation News Item: 00271 30th Sep 2009 West Air Sweden selects SA for ATP glass cockpit upgrade Source: ubmaviationnews.com West Air Sweden, a cargo airline based in Gothenburg, has selected Scandinavian Avionics to provide design, EASA certification and installation support for glass cockpit upgrades in a number of ATP turboprops. Replacing the aircraft's existing EFIS system, the installation will include a five-panel suite of Universal Avionics' EFI-890R flat panel displays and Vision-1 synthetic vision system (SVS) as well as Rockwell Collins' TWR-850 weather radar system. |
